5K Adventure at Worlds of Fun Supporting The Love Fund Fun Run!
We had a blast participating in the Fox 4 Love Fund Fun Run, a 5K event held at Worlds of Fun. It was an unforgettable experience, not just because we got to walk through the park, but because we had the opportunity to support an amazing cause that’s close to our hearts.
The Love Fund for Children is a fantastic organization that helps kids in Kansas City by filling in the gaps left by other organizations. They provide support ranging from school supplies to medical assistance and a whole lot more. They make a real difference in the lives of countless children in our community, and we are proud to support them!
As the day of the 5K approached, we were a little worried about the weather.
The forecast predicted heavy rain, but that didn’t stop our determined Cenetric staff from showing up in full force! We were thrilled to see so many team members, along with their friends and families, ready to brave the elements and support a great cause.
Lucky for us, the rain held off, and the weather ended up being beautiful throughout the day. The 5K route took us right through Worlds of Fun, passing under rollercoasters, alongside rides, and through many of the park’s themed areas. It was a unique and exciting way to experience the park while also getting some exercise!
The event organizers really went all out to make the day special for everyone involved.
The kids loved meeting Snoopy, getting hugs from superheroes, and cheering on the walkers with cowbells and pom-poms. To top it off, several rides were opened early, giving everyone a chance to enjoy some thrills before the park officially opened.
One of the highlights of the day was the music that kept us energized and motivated throughout the 5K. There’s nothing quite like a great soundtrack to pump you up as you walk for an amazing cause!
The Love Fund Fun Run was a truly memorable experience for all of the Cenetric team.
We loved spending the day together, bonding as we walked and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. But more than anything, it felt really special to be part of something that made such a positive impact on the children of Kansas City.
We’re filled with gratitude for everyone who came out to support the children. It’s a testament to the power of community and the willingness of people to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. We’re grateful to be able to help a group making a big difference for Kansas City kids!
