Cenetric Is Growing Fast (Ingram’s Agrees!)

Cenetric is the seventh-fastest growing company in Kansas City, putting it in the Top 10 of Ingram’s annual Corporate 100 list.
After narrowly missing the top 10 for the last couple of years (at No. 13), our team was so excited to see our hard work reflected in the numbers this year. Because Ingram’s bases its rankings on growth over the previous year, our spot on the list is a demonstration of the time and effort our team of experts puts into serving clients.
We all sat together as a team in the office (and were joined virtually by off-site team members) with a pile of magazines, all waiting until the same moment to open them up and find ourselves on the list. To see we were No. 7 had the whole team cheering.
Staying focused on community, clients and our team
It was quite a moment for me because, for the past 18 years, I’ve been determined to maintain a strong company culture where all my employees felt valued and important in how we do business. They’ve supported me right back, and I’ve been lucky to receive a lot of help and encouragement from outside the company too, through mentorship and community with other women founders.
“I would have failed spectacularly if not for the support of the KC community and my mentors,” I told Ingram’s. “My advice to anyone experiencing rapid growth is to reach out to others who have been at that stage in their company—both in growth rate and in size—and ask for any and all help. Raising a business requires a supportive community. There’s just no going it alone. Let others save you steps and keep you from mistakes when it matters most.”
The bustling Kansas City business community is another source of support, and we were thrilled to see our friends at NVisionKC and founder Grace Ahn in the top 10 as well. I’ve always found other Kansas City founders to be a welcoming group, and the camaraderie I’ve found in our community has helped Cenetric become what it is today.
